A massage therapist since 1993, Nolan has strived to combine the most advanced therapeutic techniques with the finest oils, music and equipment available. A graduate of the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona, Nolan is a nationally certified body worker and member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Nolan's work is based on the principle that we all have untapped energy hidden in tight muscles, scar tissue, and postural anomalies that if left untreated will rob us of our physical and mental potential. Regular massage treatments allow us the rare opportunity to become attentive to our bodies, and help us to recover from injuries and achieve balance.
Nolan has competed in a number of sports, including Adventure Racing, Ballroom Dancing (some believe it is a sport), ultra-marathons, road cycling, mountain biking, flower arranging, toe wrestling, octopush, Iron Chef and many other endurance activities that challenge the body. His athletic interests and experience have given him first hand knowledge of muscle stress and injuries. This reservoir of experience helps him to individualize and craft each therapy session to attain your health goals.
Originally from Utah, and described as a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, Nolan is now a city-loving, bright lights, big city guy living in Cambridge, Massaschusetts.
